WebSocket Bridge Protocol
Endpoint: GET /bridge/ws (WebSocket upgrade)
The bridge uses in-protocol authentication — no HTTP auth headers. Maximum message size is 64 KB. The server sends WebSocket pings every 30 seconds and expects a pong within 60 seconds.
All messages use an envelope format:
{
"type": "event_type",
"payload": { }
}
Connection Lifecycle
| Event | Direction | Payload |
|---|---|---|
bridge_hello | Client → Server | join_token, agent_name, description, capabilities (object), runtime (object) |
